What to expect:

  • 1 to 3 hour dedicated session

  • Fully prepared environment

  • Trained in disability awareness and sensory processing

  • Short intake form required — only takes a few minutes

Your Pace, Your Space

This short 10–30 minute visit is designed to help clients feel safe, familiar, and comfortable before any appointment takes place.

What to expect:

  • Private, quiet walkthrough with only the hairdresser and parent/carer present

  • No other clients in the space to reduce overstimulation

  • Calm, low-sensory environment (soft lighting, minimal noise)

  • Explore freely—sit in the chair, move around, or take breaks as needed

  • Play with available toys and get comfortable in the space

  • Relax on the couch and choose a favourite TV show for the background

  • Enjoy a warm drink or simple snack from our café area (e.g. hot chocolate or toasties)

  • See and gently interact with tools at your own pace

  • Build trust with the team before your first haircut
